Through BigKahunaRace.com, in conjunction with Wild Creek Adventures, we help collegiate and corporate groups to organize a fun community race event to raise money for people with disabilities. Big Kahuna Races are currently held at Webber International University in Babson Park, FL, in St. Cloud, FL, and in Tallahassee, FL. We will partner with other organizations looking for a Win/Win event.
Buddy Board Program
Everybody needs a buddy, especially those needing assistance to enjoy great experiences. We have Buddy Boards we will furnish to churches and groups so they can encourage their members to become a Buddy and hang a tag on the Buddy Board.
It only takes a $25 monthly commitment to become a Buddy and enhance the life of a person with disabilities. Our Buddy Boards have a place for 12 Buddies and we will furnish the boards and the tags.
Buddy Board income goes to support the operation of StirringWaters and its related programs. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Driven by the desire to see people of the world become friends, BUILDFRIENDSHIP.COM, a nonprofit entity, was created to be an International initiative to invite people of the world to agree to be friends -- one smile at a time.
Beginning on the North American Continent organizations and causes invite people to sign their name on a special Friendship Flag and then back up their pledge to be friends by making a token donation to the cause sponsoring the flag. Friendship Flags are furnished free to those who choose to participate. 70% of the funds donated stay with the Flag, 20% goes to provide great experiences for the 20% of the world who live with disabilities, and only 10% is reserved to cover the program costs. RTBI is the official steward of the 20% to be used for people with disabilities.
Currently organizations in Canada, USA, and Mexico can participate. Other continents will soon be involved. Contact email@example.com
Friendship Brigades will begin in late 2017 in various regions in Florida and build toward the North American Friendship Brigade on the historic Ohio River.
These events will be open to nonprofit organizations who will be able enter a paddler to Champion their cause and raise money for their Champion's efforts. The various cause will keep all the money they raise, but the income from the participation fees and the sponsors will go to help remove great experiences for people with disabilities.
